Do you value balance, autonomy and purpose?
Discover an OT role that goes beyond traditional practice.
Career opportunities
Apply your occupational therapy expertise in a setting that values accuracy, fairness, and independence.
At Interface, we specialise in independent medico-legal assessments that rely on clear reasoning, strong clinical judgement, and an unwavering commitment to accuracy.
Our work is not traditional OT. It is deep analysis, disciplined thinking, and the ability to turn complex information into clear conclusions that can meaningfully assist in a claim.
The Work
Our clinicians draw on their occupational therapy skillset – observation, critical thinking, functional analysis, and clear communication – to understand how injury affects day-to-day life and capacity.
We assess, we reason, we report.
Every report must show how conclusions were formed and why the evidence leads there. We provide independent, balanced, evidence-based opinion grounded in functional assessment and clinical experience.
Why Clinicians Choose Interface
• Flexibility that respects your experience: Autonomy to structure your work in a way that suits your professional style.
• Strong admin support: Our admin team handles logistics and coordination so you can focus on the clinical work.
• Continuous learning: Peer review, mentoring, medico-legal training, and exposure to diverse and complex cases.
• A clear, proven framework: Established systems and templates that streamline your workload and guide consistent, high-quality reporting.
What You’ll Bring
• Current AHPRA registration and solid clinical background.
• Excellent written communication and a talent for logical, evidence-based reasoning.
• Confidence in independent work and comfort operating in a high-thinking environment.
• Curiosity — about people, function, and the intersection of evidence and practice.
You do not need prior medico-legal experience. You do need to be willing to learn, stretch your thinking, and embrace a very different way of practising OT.
Always Open to New Brilliance
We are always interested in speaking with occupational therapists who share our commitment to fairness and analytical rigour.
If you’re looking for a change from traditional OT and want to learn from one of the most experienced medico-legal teams in Australia, we welcome a conversation — even if we don’t currently have an advertised role.
New opportunities arise often, and the right mindset is usually the strongest predictor of success here.
We’d love to hear from you.
